Can I sell a broken Womens Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust for the 18K gold and the diamonds?

I just bought a Women’s Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust thats18K gold, 73.5 grams, with ten .02CT Diamond chips…but it doesn’t work for some reason…I bought it exremely, extremely cheap from a drug user who needed a quick fix…I know that it’s real 100% because I was with her when she bought it years ago. She begged me to buy it from her because it made her feel better that I had and not someone else.

The model number is 69178- and the band clasp is #8570F…Once again I know it’s real and that it’s not stolen.

My Question: Can I sel it strictly for the weight of gold and the diamond chips? or do I have to get it fixed first?

I figured that I can just take it to a jewlrey shop and sell it real quick, instead of going through the hassel of fixing it.

The watch is very expensive though, and it’s in great shape!

I need some help and advice
